Hi guys, I picked up a 1994 Mazda 323 yesterday for my girlfriend to drive and it's making me NAUSEOUS! It bounces up and down A TINY BIT but constantly, but not in a blown-out springs kinda way. When I hit a bump there's a bit of a bang as if the struts are worn out a bit, but it's not like a pronounced bounce. Also the transmission mount seems to be worn as it vibrates quite a bit when stopped. But can a bad mount really make the car bounce along as it drives?
These is a constant CONSTANT up and down vibrating as if driving on a road with 1/2" deep valleys and peaks, regardless of the road condition.
Am I making sense?
What the hell can this be? Please tell me the tires are out of balance or something cheap.
Unforunately I think the answer may be that someone installed springs with the wrong spring rates at some point, even though the car is not lowered.
THANKS!
