In 2008 I bought a 2004 Mazda 3 GS. Loved it, but after getting in an accident, insurance decided to write it off. I then bought a Jeep which turned out to be a huge mistake, too hard on fuel travelling 100 kms each day to and from work. So now I am looking to buy another Mazda.
I have found 2 I really like, a 2008 Mazda 6, 4 cylinder with sunroof and leather interior and a 2008 mazda 3, sunroof but no leather interior. They are both the same price and have the same amount of kms on it. Which is the better of the 2? I loved my 3 that I had but feel like the 6 looks nicer on the outside. How much better is the fuel economy in a 3 compared to a 6? and anyone have any mechanical problems with either? my 2004 mazda 3 had one owner before me, and neither of us ever had to get anything fexed, the only time it saw the repair shop was for oil changes and brakes. Also when I got in the accident, it had 190,000 kms on it. So I feel like it was a reliable car and also held up really well in the accident, the outside was totalled but the inside was unharmed.
But again, I am interested in the Mazda 6 as well.
