Mazda 3 Commercial- Shoes in comm..?

So i saw this mazda commercial for somthing didnt pay attention. Anyway in the commercial this guy is driving and it shows the typical foot to the pedal shot. Hes got some pretty cool shoes with what looks like sharpied on blue checker flags haha. Anyway im just trying to find out what shoe this is. Looks like mabey converse but ive sorted through their shoes and couldnt find an exact match
