So due to the high demand for appointments at MayoClinic I am having a hard time getting an appointment. The woman I talked to said I would have to see a Mayoclinic alumni and the closest to me is three hours away and he would have to refer me to Mayo. And I may go and see him and get the referral and still may not get in.
So anyway, I really do need help with this. I've been horribly sick in the last year and it just keeps getting worse. I'm dealing with severe pain in my chest, abdomen, back, and hips. I've been in the hospital twice just to get the pain under control. I also am having heart symptoms, digestive symptoms, kidney problems, bladder problems, neurologic problems, and inflammatory problems. I also have been fighting a different type of infection almost every two weeks and am becoming antibiotic resistant.
Are there any other clinics around that you guys would recommend that will have similar qualities to Mayo when it comes to diagnostics? I really need to figure this out as I may be going on disability soon and I really do want to work if we can get this figured out.
Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Liz
