The Only Russian film I've seen is Nightwatch. Really enjoyed it though! And actually understood some of the dialogue!!

NightWatch is a brilliant film!
Though i saw the european version that is dubbed and cut a bit, so i think you might of seen the better longerversion.
Im hoping they release a directors cut in the UK.

The version I saw in the cinema was subtitled, not dubbed. Than goodness!!!! I can't watch dubbed films, they annoy me. It's even more distracting than subtitles. After a while you forget you're even reading.

One thing amused me though in NW. There's a scene when the boy (whos name I've forgotton) was watching Buffy. The clip of Buffy (in english) was dubbed (in russian) and subtitles (in english)!!!!

the dubbing wasnt to distracting actually, I hate dubbed films but you forgot about it after a while.
I know! I noticed that as well!
