i doubt it will happen because theyll opt for olympic style drug testing again... same thing that ruined the last superfight
 
no, this fight will def happen. It's too big & there's way too much money wrapped up for it not to happen. I honestly like them both. Always have. Mayweather's the last fight was a bit lame for an ending (but completely fair) and Pacman's fight wasn't the best display. But these are def the 2 most highest paid and best talents in the sport now. This has to happen before something reverses the hype machine (a loss, too old, injury, etc)
 
I couldn't imagine this fight being as good as everyone is hoping for. I just picture Mayweather landing rights and check hooks all day and stepping left to avoid Pac's left hand.
 
that's pretty much it, but the flurries may affect him. Pacquaio floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee; Mayweather promotes like ali. Corabined they are the perfect fighter. I'm calling it right now (similar to what you said above...

Fight 1: Mayweather in the decision (weathered the storm and did not exert too much. Looked much like Pacman vs. Marquez 3, only this time he lost)
Fight 2: Pacman, knockout early (either stopped prematurely or just legit TKO)
Fight 3: Mayweather again in the decision but this time both men had been down (maybe a few times each)
 
We've been teased too long with this fight, so I'm not buying into it fully just yet. I was a little unimpressed with Manny's fight vs. Marquez though. I'd give more credit to Marquez stepping up to the challenge though
 
Just sayin, Mosley had Mayweather rocked, Paquiao dropped Mosley when they fought and afterworRAB Mosley came out and said "I've never been hit that hard"

Mayweather can't cover up and hide from Paquiao like he usually does.
 
this should have happened long ago, and Pacquiao got his ass beat in his last fight, that final decision was utter BS. Mayweather is a twat, but I gotta root for the American on this one. Go Floyd.
 
It makes sense that it's happening now. Neither of them could fight this fight before because, if either lost, there would be no more big paydays for them. Now, they will get all the money and Mayweather can try to 'fix' his name (Ortiz and selecting easy wins). I think Mayweather is the better boxer but, akin to Larry Summers, I don't know shit about boxing.
