y=(x+1)^3-9(x+1)
I need to know how to get to the answers, knowing that the answer is :
The curve crosses the x-axes at (-4,0) , (-1,0) and (2,0)...
y = (x + 1)^3 - 9(x + 1)
= (x + 1)[(x + 1)^2 - 9]
How did the first line become the other one?
