Hello, I was wondering what complex mathematics are involved in the golf swing. I have to do an independent study project for grade 11 math, and I'd like to do it on something I'm extremely interested in, the golf swing.
The presentation has to be 8-10 minutes long, and involve equations, and examples on how they relate to math. I'm thinking about adding things such as launch angle, swing speed, how center of gravity affects ball flight, spin rates, and ball speed. Any other suggestions? and equations that would be involved within the swing?
Thanks
I understand equations are pretty much impossible to work with within the swing. The teacher suggested projectile motion. It's a part of grade 12 physics, which I've yet to take. Would that make sense to use?
