Math help! Pre algebra?

I don't understand these math questions and neither does anyone in my family. Im VERY close to being finished. But need help on these last 3.

1)When making a scale drawing of a building measuring 20ft by 40ft using a scale of 1 in: 10ft, Harry made the following calculations for the dimensions. Is Harry's working correct? Explain your answer.
Harry's calculations:
Width= 1/10 = x/20 x= 2 inches Length: 1/10= y/40 y=4 inches

2) A scale drawing of a rectangular backyard measures 9 inches by 12 inches. The scale for the drawing is 1 inch: 3 feet. What are the dimensions of the real backyard? Show your work.

3)Paulo and Jeremy are comparing different routes between their houses. Paulo finds a route measuring 3.7 inches using a map with a scale of 1 inch: 25 miles. Jeremy finds a different route measuring 17 cm in a map with a scale of 1 cm: 5 miles. Whose route is shorter? By how far? Explain.
