Slope-Intercept Form of Linear Equation
y = mx + b, where:
m is the slope.
b is the y-intercept.
m = 3/2
b = -2
y = 3/2 * x - 2
Two points are necessary to draw the line. Use the y-intercept as one point then use the slope to find another point by the y-intercept.
Slope = rise/run = 3/2
y-intercept: ( 0, -2 )
Another Point: ( 0 + 2, -2 + 3 ) = ( 2, 1 )
