ok so i kinda forgot a lil bit of elimination so i just have a simple question. In elimination when u need to eliminate a variable and you multiply and eliminate variables and find 1 variable do u sub in the variable in the new equation or the multiplied equation to find the other variable? i know its confusing so here is an example ill make...
x+b=6 (1)
2x+3b=5 (2)
so those r 2 equations... now if i wanna eliminate lets say x, i multiple first equation by -2 and then add. once i find b and i wanna sub it in equation one do i sub b in the orignal equation 1 or the one where i multiplied it by two?
Another question i have is in elimination do i always have to add or can i also subtract to get rid of a variable?
