Hi everyone,

As I am reviewing to take a test, there are a few questions I'm struggling with.
Please show me all your work, as I would like to learn from this and not just look at the answer.

Questions:
1) squareroot(x+5) = x
How many real solutions does this equation have?
(square root sign is over (x + 5) )

2) A quadratic polynomial function has zeroes at -5 and 4. If the y-intercept is -60, then the leading coefficient (i.e., the coefficient of x^2) is ______ ?

3) Given a graph with a line with the points (0 , 5) and (4 , 0)
and the equation ax + by = 1 ,
what does a = ____ ? what does b = ____?

Again, please show me all your steps! :)
Thank you in advance.
