I have a 1984 Honda VF700S Sabre, I got it for free, and I took it apart to see if it was corroding on the inside of the engine. It was not, in fact, it was well oiled still, but it has been sitting for 3 years, and I was wondering what I should worry about in terms on corrosion and/or dry rot on the bike. What should I consider replacing even if it looks alright?

all the orings on the carb, if you have head off then obviously the gaskets, the oil seal on the clutch push rod, check your water pump oil seal.
dump the oil and grap some cheap mineral oil, add a bit of diesel/kero or engine flush, run it for a couple of mins, then dump it again, put in fresh stuff and she should be away laughing.
they are a fairly sturdy engine, so just the basics should have her up and running again,
oh and change the plugs even if they look like they don't need it

attached is a manual for you if you dont have it already 68meg pdf
