I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am SE 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. I have been having problems with the acceleration. the car idles smooth but when i put it in reverse or drive the car doesn't perform with much power. It does however work sometimes with no problems. I was told it could be a vacuum leak or the mass air flow sensor but when i checked my repair manual it shows info on the MAF but then says (if equipped). Does anybody know if i even have a MAF? or should i jus keep replacing my vacuum hoses?
