Sure he has the all time wins record and I'll give him all the props in the world but at some point while regarding the greatest goal tender in history you have to include play-offs and Roy is the best in that categorie with 151 wins and Brodeur has 78 games in hand but only has 94 wins in the playoffs.
Even from my view here next to Philly (and as a Bernie Parent devotee) I don't need to be prodded to say that Mr. Brodeur is the greatest. All due respect - of course - to those netminders that I have never had the honor of seeing play prior to the 1974-75 season.
