Martial art fighting?

Hey

New member
I am a 5'0 ft 107 Ib male. My opponent is a 5'10 ft about 180 Ib. I was wondering if there is any technique that I can use to beat him. My specialty is combo kicks (front, side, round hound, angle, and reversal kicks), I am not much of a "punching" fighter, but I am willing to commit myself to it. My opponent specialize in kicks and punch, but lack variations in kicking combos. The only way I can think of beating him is to get close in order to minimize his kicking power. Force = mass X acceleration. Since he is bigger and heavier than me, I have to get close to minimize the acceleration of his leg. But what do I do when I get into close combat? I could "push" kick him, or throw a few punches, but where should I direct them? towards the stomach, the chest?

Keep in mind that this is practice sparing, and i don't want to injure the person by punching his/her sternum. But I also don't want to be beaten up. Also the rules are: I can't punch him in the head or sweep him. No ground fighting. No elbow blocking, cause that is cheap.
