My fiance is in the army and I have wanted to join now for a very long time, I just had to finish my studies in college. However now I'm thinking it's not a quite good idea to join because I may rarely to never see my soon to be husband. I've had to go days and months without seeing him already and I dont know how much longer I can take the distance. I've been fine with it now, but just thinking of being in there 20 years til retirement makes me think it wouldn't be the best choice. Plus I would like to have a child at some point. I understand they have programs to TRY to make married couple stationed together or at least 100 miles within distance, but that's it. Any soldiers or officers out there married within the military? If so do you have any thoughts, opinions, advice?
