MARINES! HELP ME PLEASE!! or any military for that matter!!!?

Can the Marines hold you passed your EAS two weeks before it if your final physical papers havent been done yet?

Like your about to get out in two weeks and they call you and tell you you have to stay longer because your papers to your final physical wont be ready for a few more weeks possibly passed your EAS..
 
Yes they can and they can hold you under the Stop Loss as well...I think I answered this for you already!
 
It is possible. If the person you are asking about did their final physical at the last minute then it could happen. Call the dept at the Naval hospital handling the final physical and explain what is going on, they might be able to speed it up if your exam is done. The marine should get the rest of his/her checkout done, so that the final physical is the only thing you are waiting on. He/she has two weeks, so they can still make the EAS on time if they are proactive. Call some folks, don't sit around and wait for your EAS to come and go.
There is no Stop Loss in the Marines, ignore that post.
 
i had similar issue but my Command lost my Final Physical papers and Medical didnt have a copy either..and this was 3 days before EAS ,i went again to Medical and they told to come back Monday but i was EAS that saturday..i told my situation..end they kind figured out i was going to move..,so they told me to come back the next day . coreman attending me help me out giving the doc the paper and giving a brief explanation and he signed it.

so my recommendation explain yourself and make yourself noticed or you gonna be treated like another Marine going to Medical ,and also you so close to EAS you SHOULD have alot of time in your hands..but if you dont explain your Staff Nco and he should give you some time off to finish packing up and finishing your stuff.

doing Physical shouldnt take you that long..i did my in less than a week btw.
