As a product of the 60's I would have to say that it's really no different than alcohol. That being said I am sure there are plenty of anti-pot people that will think I am nuts! When you collectively place all illegal drugs into a category such as we do (abused drugs), Cannabis takes on a life of it's own, we worry that it's a gateway drug that can lead to other more serious drug use. In fact that's true in some cases but certainly not all or most. We also forget some basic premise about this here life in the United States (if that's where you are from, or works for other countries also), If by some weird chance it was legalized, I'm sure it would carry the same rule of law as alcohol or cigarettes. The product should only be available to adults. But it seems as those that are against it really don't know much about it except for their own experience. That's the same in my case... Used it a lot when I was young, it never affected my work with the obvious exception of spending money on it rather than a good book, which is what I do now.
