A couple days ago, my boss mentioned there was a Henry VIII miniseries on PBS. He starts talking about the story and where the first part ended. Then I said, "Well The Simpsons has a version of the story too..."
While I've only seen five or six minutes of this episode (it was the part with Mozart where the jolly men in the front row kept singing), I'm just going to agree. I actually was "laughing out loud". Ah, it's been awhile.
Edit: Hah! I just realized what it's called "Margical".
I thought Margical History Tour was very good. It is the best episode of this season so far. My favorite story would have to be Henry VIII. Homer was hilarous as Henry VIII.
It is sweeps, so if the writers actually have brains, they'd make this a decent episode. Fox kept whoring off this weekend as "the best Laugh out Loud Sunday ever!", but of course, Fox is stupid.
There's a shortage of books at Springfield Library, but Marge isn't about to let that stand in the way of telling a few stories about historical characters: Henry VIII (Homer), Lewis and Clark (Lenny and Carl), Sacagawea (Lisa), and Mozart (Bart).
