marching band cymbals or saxophone?

I am in drum line and will be a senior in high school. I am also in marching band which is seperate from drumline and I have to choose between playing cymbals or buying a new saxophone to play. Which would look better to colleges, or does it matter? I don't have much money to buy a sax and after high school I don't know if I will use it much seeing as my instrument of choice is percussion.
 
Go with your gut. Stick with what you love. I think what would look good to colleges is that you are dedicated to what you love. I may be a little biased though as I was a percussionist in drum line, pep band, concert band and marching and I still drum today. Good luck.

honestly I don't think it matters from a collegiate level because you have to audition for most college bands, you might have a better chance at making it on the drumline in college, although most auditions I have done for drumline have been on a snare drum and then the instructor will place you where they feel you fit the best (so you wouldn't really be auditioning for cymbals) whereas there are probably more people who play sax.
