HELLO 
so i'm a 15 year old girl and this march break my family and i will be possibly going on vacation to cancun this year. We went last year, had a pretty good time but i will admit i had an attitude because i was alone with me my mom and dad for 10 days. we stayed at a 5 star hotel and i was expecting lots of teens, man was i wrong. I saw one teen who look my age but i was too shy to talk to him :s we want to go back to cancun or somewhere but the thing is IM AN ONLY CHILD AND IT GETS BORING. how can i make the best of it? i want to bring a friend but it is hard considering parents dont want to pay alot. my friend is going down to cancun and my parents are considering staying at the same hotel so that might work out but still i need ideas on how to have more fun and not be shy 
OTHER DETAILS :
-my parents wanted to go vist places but i really didnt want to last year, plus we never got the chance, now the problem about all this is im scared to go anywhere down there. Just cause when iw as there and at a mall across the street, someoen got arrested for mugging a tourist.... and i saw it :s so im scared. how can i convice my parents to stay on site? they wouldnt mind too much tho.

- we would probably go for 10 days
- how can i go up to someone and become friends? im not good with that alone, i cant walk up to people unless im with other friends.
