March and I don't get along

Seems every March I am having major allergy problems. I have been waking up every night with tightness in my throat and breathing problems. I will also wheeze on inhalation. The only thing that helps this seems to be a puff on my albuteral inhaler or coffee. What else do you think I should be taking would claritin be good to add?
 
Albuterol is an asthma med so it's not doing anything for the allergies. I suggest Zyrtec. Claritin never worked for me.
