Hi I bought a domain on godaddy.com (lets say example.com) and for some time I had set the nameservers to ns1.officelive.com and ns2.officelive.com so the domain would be associated with my micorsoft officelive website.
Now officelive is removing their web hosting service and I built a new website from scratch on google sites. The problem is how do I make my domain to redirect to my google site.
I have changed the CNAME record of the subdomain www to ghs.google.com as per the instructions of the google help page. I have also forwarded the domain example.com to redirect to www.example.com
For some time this worked just fine and whenever I typed example.com or www.example.com I was redirected to my google site. But suddenly it has stopped working and whenever I enter example.com or www.example.com I am taken to my previous website hosted by microsoft officelive.
BTW I removed the domain name association with my officelive site and have removed the nameservers.
