I am doing a project on DNA decoding, and one of the genes i chose to decode Hexokinase (HK1) I found the gene in cattle through the NCBI website, but although I have the nucleotide sequence, I cannot find the exact location of the gene.
The website only mentions that the gene is located on chromosome 28, but I need the entire address, including which arm it is located in and what band it is on.
the nucleotide location for it is NM_001012668.1 and it is on chromosome 28 of a cattle (Bos taurus)
