Have they ever identified the virus? That this happened after you were sick really suggests it's not stress...

Has anyone considered infectious mononucleosis (called glandular fever over there, I think)? Epstein-Barr virus can go on to cause lasting illness in some people and is strongly suspected as a trigger/cause of chronic fatigue for many.
What blood tests were done?

yes i have had gladular fever mentioned as a possible cause..not to sure what blood tests they did i went to the hospital and they toke some blood four hours later they said it was all fine. i think the main reason they think everything is stress related is because of my farthers recent passing..which is knd of insulting..obviously stressfull times but im in to much physical pain for it to be stress i think. i begged my docotr for a MRI but he said i simply didnt need need it..so i fired him.

thank you for your post :)

Kurits,

In my opinion, the diagnosis of stress is used when the doctor stops looking for the real problem. As you know, we all exerience stress...some to the utmost extreme...but we don't all "suffer physically" because of it.

If your doctor checks everything out and still doesn't find an explanation for your problems, you might want to learn more about Lyme Disease...I don't know where hemel is located, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the uk as many posts similar to yours are coming out of the uk and Lyme Disease has been found there...but it sounds like the docs haven't figured that out yet.

Although I would think that some people might have a fever with Lyme, many actually have low vitals...low blood pressure, a low heart rate, a low body temperature, and/or a low pulse.

Many people with Lyme have the same symptoms, but there is no "one" symptom that everyone gets...

Kurtis,

I would encourage you to check the Lyme Boards for a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor in your area of the country. Few doctors have the knowledge or the experience to diagnose and treat this condition...but it can be treated and many of the symptoms can be reversed if caught in time.

Don't take any steroids as these may make your condition worse, IF you do in fact have Lyme.

Take care, blessings.
