even recently LSD has led to breakthoughs in spiritual thinking.

You're also forgetting Rastafarians (marijuana) and Hindus who used to smoke the 'soma' plant (some still do). What do I think? I KNOW that the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and isn't to be abused with such substances... it's a form of idolatry.
