The FXDFSE is a Fat BOB (Dyna Family)..... a Fat BOY is a Softail.
Not sure of actual dealer cost, it varies slightly by the model, but dealer cost is is on the average of $1500-2000 UNDER MSRP (but with the economy hurting their sales so badly, most dealers are dropping their prices dramatically to help move inventory). In reality, HD Dealers DO NOT make a huge profit from the bike sale alone, their SALES profit comes mainly from Part & Accessories and Clothing. The average income for an HD Dealer is 60% Svc Dept, 20% Sales Dept, 20% P&A/Clothing.
