My son was driving his 96 honda civic and all of a sudden the wheels lock up, he left his car over night then we went back to check it out. We started it up and put it in gear (1st) and the car stalled out as if were a higher gear. Then put it in neutral to find that it actually engaged the transmission as if it were in first. Anyone got an idea of what this can be? Or any suggestions before we have to take it to the transmission shop? Were mostly do it yourselfers but transmissions are foreign to me! Thanks in advance for any info!
