HHave seen the clips for this and am looking forward to seeing this. Anyone else or am I the only sad leftover ABBA fan from the seventies. BTW I know it is not about ABBA just the music.:D

I saw it for the fifth time today!:D

The place was abslutely packed. I had to squeeze past a lot of people to get to the only seat I saw and this was before even the adverts had actually started.

I just think where this film is concerned the whole world has gone mad. I just got why any of it was any good . And it not a troll comment I genuinely just dont get it:confused::(:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Heh, sure she's a cutie. I'd probably prefer Rachel McDowall though ;)

I think all were great but i paticullay liked" lay all your love on me" "our last summer " "honey honey" "slipping through my fingers "and "dancing queen" hopefully this film should win few awarRAB next year if there is any justice!

It's a shame there were only 10 of you! I went last Wednesday and the cinema was full..

I'll see how full it is tonight and report back! We need to get this film up to number 1!! :D

i've only seen the show once in Vegas and I think this is a great fun film - meryl & amanda may be american but the characters are not (nor are they british) they are just...!!!
if you treat it as what it is , a musical film you will get a good ride from it, i did (wife my wife!!)
..also the 1st time i've really heard an audience respond like an american one, applauding songs!

^ I don't think Quantum of Solace will get much further in the next few weeks. You can expect high initial takings for the Blockbuster of the Year..but I really don't think Quantum has the longevity of Mamma Mia! (If you look Casino Royale is at #7 in the Top Ten)

Disappointing sales this week though. :(

ill be suprised if universal take it off release being so close to number 1 as they are in big competition with warner/ 20th century etc for buisness andi t would be a major coup for them to beat titanics total ...i also dont think hsm3 will come near mm total as mm fan base is from young to old as hsm3 is mainly a teenage audience

No disrespect but I know full well how to 'take' Mamma mia - I didn't for one second think it would be a serious movie.

To me it felt rushed - there was no time to get to know any of the characters (especially the guys) so therefore I didn't care about them. From what I did see, the characters were really annoying. As for '9 out of 10 people love it' that really does not matter to me or affect what I thought of the film.

I really wanted to like this film, and thought I would but I just didn't. I don't think my opinion is less valid than others because it is not the same. I loved Moulin Rouge but I totally appreciate that it's not everyone's cup of tea!
