Thanks Rebecca (its rebecca, right? )

I also love honey honey.. its the only song that really sounds good when I sing it

I love that Meryl and Amanda's hair looked very much alike. Made them look more like mother/daughter that way

THIRD?!? yestderday it was the second time. I've ask someone if my family to get this movie for me, can't wait to watch it again.

Thanx for the links....thats what i also knew about this situation....

i have to say though that i applaud Amanda for publicly admiting to sth like that....i love this girl.....:D

I loved Mamma Mia! I've watched it 6 times already, although there's nothing like watching it the first time. The rest of the times I enjoyed the musical numbers just as much but other parts started to annoy me. Anyway, since I've seen the movie I have been obsessed with ABBA. I know most of all the lyrics to all the songs in the movie, and I'm constantly singing them. I've also been watching the ABBA dvd with all their video clips to their songs. It's great.

I thought although Amanda was definitely the best singer, Meryl Streep gave the best performance. She's just amazing! I love how she perfectly acts each song and not just sings it, and that's what look forward in a musical, not just good voices, but most of all great interpretations. The winner takes it all has to be my favorite moment of the movie because Meryl is just amazing. I think Mamma Mia proved that there's nothing she can't do and I'm more in awe with her than ever.

I thought Amanda did a good job too and she revealed itself to be a potentially great actress, but I thought that she over acted in certain scenes coming close to hysteric. But I guess that I have to blame that on the direction, since that was most likely what they were looking forward in Sophie, but it just made it hard for me to connect with Sophie.

I have to say I only reached these conclusions after watching it 6 times :lmao:, because the first times that I watched I thought it was completely flawless and I was obsessed with it. Now, I continue to love it, but I found somethings that bother me.

There's actually quite a few of us ;)

:sigh: I'm tempted to get the soundtrack too, Becs. They've got it on special at Borders ... very tempting!

Just saw it last night and OMG it was amazing, i loved her and Pierce together but I think Harry/Colin Firth had the best father daughter chemistry with Sophie!

I can't wait to see this! It looks so good, I think I'm going to see it with a friend for my birthday!

I just saw the movie and I loved it. It was really cheesy, but also really cute and fun and it put me in a good mood. I've been listening to ABBA ever since I got home!

"Slipping Through My Fingers" made me cry :look:

Honey honey, how he thrill me, ah-hah, honey honey
Honey honey, nearly kill me, ah-hah, honey honey
I'd heard about you before
I wanted to know some more
And now I know what they mean, hes a love machine
Oh, you make he dizzy

I cant stop singing that! i saw it with my best friend and all night we were singing

but what i want to know, where is it filmed? I heard it was either Myconos or Santorini, i want to know because i just got back from Greece and went to those islands among other and when i see it again with my mom this time i would be cool to know i was there :)
