I shall shortly be taking some head-and-shoulders portraits on my Mamiya 645AF, using the 150mm lens. Will an aperture of f4 give enough depth of field, whilst keeping the background out of focus?
I have only done an initial check on this lens, to make sure it works properly, so I'm not certain about settings. f4 works well with the standard lens, giving results I like, but there will be less depth of field with a portrait lens, so . ? .
