I'm about to join the Australian Army, and was just wondering about the exact grooming standards. I understand that you must keep your hair from touching you ears and neck, but are you allowed to keep it long up the top and comb it back? What about facial hair? Are you allowed to keep a full beard, moustache or sideburns, provided that they are neat and tidy?
