Male doctors examining women?

I'm 13 and just shutter at the thought. I understand that some people will think I am metal for thinking this, because doctors are supposed to be professional, but who knows what they are thinking. I know the same thing goes for women to men, but still. I mean if an attractive person of the opposite sex came in for a pelvic (or if a woman either breast of pelvic examination), the doctor who is examining them could think impure thoughts. I'm not saying that all doctors are like this with the opposite sex, it's just who knows if one's doctor is like this?

I just don't understand how when some women need to have pelvic exams can feel comfortable just taking off their undergarments and basically having a guy looking and sticking there face down there. I have a hard time feeling comfortable having my doctor (I'm female, he's male) have to lift up the back of my shirt to listen to my heart beat to make sure that's in good health. I'm not one of those people who are paranoid by everything, but I just don't understand how some girls are totally fine with this. When I had to have breast exams (well when having my 1st and only, which I'm gonna have to get again =( ) I had gone to my regular doctor 2 or 3 times, but I just couldn't do it, I had to actually demand my my mum to take me to a female doctor, I just am not comfortable with this, how are some people?

Also I know there is a possibility of the doctor of the same gender being gay, but not only is that less likely, but it's been proven to be less "lust" between them and a patient.

Also I'm not saying that if you have a life threatening condition to not go to the doctor if your female and it's a male doctor, I just don't think it's right for check ups on the private parts, or basically any check up that it is mandatory for one to take off one's undergarments to be done by the opposite sex.

What do you think, and please do not be rude, there is no reason to be rude on a simple question that only asks for one's opinion.
