im looking to make my dodge dakota louder by putting a hole in the exhaust. i am kinda tight on money right now. would you recomend that i do this and if i do where should i put the hole.
You need to put the hole in the muffler, not the exhaust pipe. But depending on how loud you want it you want it, you can neither put a small hole in muffler or remove the muffler, that will make it real loud. But the problem with that is since it will be loud, you will get pulled over by the cops. So, just put the small hole in the muffler and that will make it louder for ya. Have fun.
Don't do it. Waite until you can change it. You could gas yourself from the fumes. Also by putting a hole in the muffler will make it sound like crap, it will have a hissing sound.
