Making a Tuna Fish Casserole, What side dish should I make and what wine

should I pare it with? I am making Tuna Fish Casserole for Dinner any side dish do you guys recommend...?
How about what type of Wine...?
The way I make my tuna casserole there are some peas in it already...
any other suggestions pls...
Thx..
I have mushrooms too....

I really love steamed peas with my tuna cassarole, especially the fresh, steam-in-the-bag kind. They're so yummy when paired up together!

I like mildly sweet wines, maybe a Riesling?

I usually put peas in my casserole as well. I'm thinking that a nice salad might be a good side dish. I'm into chopped salads these days with baby lettuces or spinach, ripe pears, candied walnuts, feta or gorgonzola cheese and Champagne Vinagrette (Berensteins is wonderful). Serve with a warm bread (Rosemary Potato is awesome!)
To drink? Well, contrary to popular belief, you can also drink rose's with fish oriented foods, so you might consider a nice White Zinfandel, or even Prosecco (Italian champagne). Pinot Grigio is always a favorite, as is Chardonay. You might consider a Fume Blanc or Blanc de Blanc for something different.

The tuna casserole with peas is already pretty complete, so you just want something as a contrast. A green leafy salad with vinaigrette dressing would be great with it.

For wine, I'd do a pinot grigio or a light chardonnay.

I would put lots of peas and mushrooms in the cassrole and have fruit on the side.
