You can get a trial sequencing program... enough time for you to decide what you like... and many of those programs are reasonable... I'm pretty certain you can get some freeware for sequencing too... I'm not sure what's good as far as freeware goes though...
 
you can download the software named nero wave editor which will help you convert mp3s and other music on your computer to a ringtone. Download a wave editor and put whateva music you want in to in it.
 
This is a good site that I have found and it works very well. The first website link helps you with the webjal program, the second website link helps you with making and fixing your own ringtones. So far, I have made over twenty ringtones--not a lot I know but pretty good for someone who's never done this before. Try it out--it really works and it's easy.
