Hi, I have a 2003 Ford Focus/ automatic. I've always had problems with this car but I've managed to do a quick fix on them. Now the car has been having a major issue where I can barely drive it. I'll start the car and it starts fine but then in the middle of driving it will just stop accelerating. Like its not getting any gas. I'll stomp on the gas pedal.. and nothing happens. Most of the time it'll just kick itself back into working but other times it can barely make it up a hill. I pump the gas pedal and that doesn't work. I've noticed if I turn the car off and start it up again it gets better. Sometimes it takes a few times though. I have no idea what this could be and really can't afford taking it to the shop at the moment. But its getting dangerous just driving it. Someone has mentioned fuel injectors but I wouldn't even know where to begin. If you have any idea what this may be your help would be much appreciated. Also, if any more detailed information would help just let me know.
