Maintenance for a newly bought used 02 Honda civic ex?

I am planning to buy a 2002 Honda civic EX to replace my 2003 dodge neon that have a really bad transmission now. I did my research that it is advisable to do a transmission flush every 30,000 miles to avoid a costly transmission repair. I did not do any transmission flush when I bought my dodge neon with 66,000 miles thats why I'm having a costly problem right now. My question is, do I need a transmission flush for this Honda Civic after buying it or is it too late now that it already have 65,743 miles on it. I will appreciate all your answers guys
 
you should buy a car with a 5 speed manual and give up your fixation with automatic transmissions Automatics are for girly men and soccer moms.
