Krishna Dharma's Mahabharata is far and away the best version in existence! His brilliant story telling usually choppy, stilted volumes of people for whom English amateur works is to look like a second language has been written by. It is so exciting retelling of the Mahabharata, it is hard to put it down! After my husband read it, he reluctantly gave it to me (he wanted to start all over again), and now I am reading it aloud with my older children. They love it! And who does not? Stories are intriguing, sometimes filled with excited enthusiasm, sometimes with a deep spiritual insights with intense emotion, sometimes. The book is literally something for everyone! Woven throughout the many valuable lessons and a love, respect, character, and many other disciplines can learn about the life worthy. This is a book that can bring out the best in all of us, while remaining highly entertaining. The bad part is coming to end ...
