magnetism affect flash cards?

i was wondering if magnetism affects flash cards. I have a psp and use my umd drive for mem card storage, but only my fake 16 gb, was wondering if it's safe for my other cards.
i meant the weak magnet contained within the umd drive on the spinning wheel thingy, i mean it hasn't damaged my fake ms any further
 
a magnet can damage the psp the hard drive the processor any memory cards and game discs.
