I'm working on a story for a national magazine and need your help! My job is to find real-life counterparts for the show's most beloved characters — Lisa, Bart, Marge, Homer, Chief Wiggum, and Professor Frink, to be exact. I'm not looking for physical matches so much as occupational and spiritual doubles. So... a Homer-esque power plant worker, a stay-at-home mom who is highly tolerant of her husband's shenanigans, a super-smart
saxophonist girl in the second grade, a skateboarding trouble maker in the fourth grade, a cop with an unabashed love for doughnuts, and a genius/nerd professorial type.
Please note: All candidates MUST live in the NYC area.
Once we find our perfect real-life matches, we will need to photograph them and conduct a brief Simpsons-related interview. Might you fit the bill or know someone who does?? If you have any suggestions or leaRAB, please let me know ASAP. I am reachable via e-mail
