In these [fake] times, Nico is still alive and the band merabers get all long - all is good. They still broke up after Loaded, but 30 years after their debut, which obviously inspires this "comeback" album, they resurface with new material. The Velvet Underground & Nico Again is undoubtedly a concept record in which Lou Reed, Nico and John Cale sing about the legacy they "apparently" left behind, citing the works of Bowie, Roxy Music, Sonic Youth, and various Punk efforts. In an ironic twist they arrange their songs in the style of these artists, borrowing lyrics and themes. In Hot Lights, Nico sings about fashion and celebrity culture and how it has changed her and the young women of recent history. This coincides with the band's overall effort to make another record about the society that inspires them. The record was recorded on tape and mixed in Mono to rekindle people's interest in vinyl LPs, a move that would forever change the industry's marketing strategies. Criticts thought that the record was a suitable comeback for the band, stating that they have once again changed the flow music culture. Fans of the iconic debut enjoyed their choice to record on tape and mix on Mono, but preferred the debut. The Velvet Underground & Nico Again would enjoy an extensive tour, after which the band certainly called it quits.

LOL. Maybe he continues making Canadian province albums while in the nursing home and dies immediately following completion of his shortest recording to date: The P.E.I. EP.
 
Has it ever been my career choice to follow what's mainstream? I just do what I feel is right is all.
