Made a mistake and did not get to the Botanical Gardens in Arkham Asylum...?

So now I'm stuck in the Penitentiary and Harley won't let me back out. The two guards keep frying because my Cryptographic Sequencer can't reach. Anything I can do that doesn't involve restarting the game?
