Macbook pro bluetooth will not pair ANYTHING?

I recently woke up this morning to find that my macbook pro's bluetooth connection to my keyboard will not work at all. i like using my macbook pro closed and hooked up to a tv and for it to be closed i obviously need to use a bluetooth keyboard. It was working fine until this morning. i tried everything from replacing the batteries to doing cold restarts. NOTHING WILL WORK. So far the internet has been absolutely no help and i even deleted the keyboard from the bluetooth memory. Every time i try to set it up again, it comes up in the bluetooth assistant as a bunch of numbers and when i try and pair it, the pairing fails and it says "the pairing attempt was unsuccessful. Make sure your device is in range of this computer, turned on, and "discoverable." When ready click continue to try again." ITS PISSING ME OFF SO MUCH. Its no the keyboard either because the keyboard works with the 3 other macs in my house that belong to different members of my family. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! SO FAR NOBODY HAS. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP AT ALL!!!
