Right now I currently use a Macbook. I moved out of my parents house recently, and when I was with them they had a 52" HDTV I hooked it up to. Having moved out, I still have the cable, but not the TV. I'm using an ilo TV with component at the moment. So it doesn't have HDMI input. Here's what I was thinking of doing, and I need to know if this would work. miniDVI to HDMI -> HDMI Female to HDMI Female -> HDMI to Component. I tried that video adapter for RCA Yellow but it didn't work. So if I get an HDMI Female to female, then an HDMI to component cable, would I get picture, or would it just not work at all? I'm also trying to keep this at minimal cost as possible. Thanks for anyone who can help!
