mac user leaving verizon and treo 650 . . .

leaning towards tmobile and another smartphone/pda.

since i use a mac i need to know what has the best connectivity and most of the features of my treo. i would like to be able to synch with my powerbook (contacts, calendar etc) and would like to save quite a few mp3s (for listening and for ringtones).

some of the phones i have been considering . . .

mda
pearl
blackjack
dash
8525 (probably my #1 so far)

also ( as you can tell from my list) i am willing to buy unlocked and need to know what phones will be limited with tmobile service.

Can't blame you for leaving the Treo. Just make sure has T-Mo coverage where you live, work and travel.

As for phones, look at the Dash if you don't need to edit Word and Excel files. The issue with any of the WM 5 devices will be synch with a Mac, I think. Don't use one, so I am guessing.
