Mac Select Cover-Up Concealer Application?

What do you recommend to apply this? Particularly under the eye. I went to the MAC counter and they suggested this for my under eyes but it doesn't seem to cover up enough for me.

I usually blend it with my finger.
Suggestions?
Please tell me if you actually use this concealer.
