I just installed 8 dimms of 8gb ram ddr400 into my mac g5 system. Everything is compatable and the ram is MAC ram. However only 2gb is showing up. I am running MAC osx. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING!!?!??!
Why would u even want 8GB...I mean nothing in the world would use that xD. Well it probably doesn't register becasue MAC osx is only compatible with upto 3GB and other computers 2GB. But seriously I don't know what u were thinking installing 8GB. The most any application can use is 1GB.
