it does ring a bell yes, and i think it was meant to be some fake doc to advertise the Village too, but I can't quite remember. I loved Signs! Unfortunately its one of those films that can only be watched once, because after that the tension is lost, but it was well scary in the cinema! and I liked the fact that it didn't need to be gory to be scary!
